What's happened already
• The All-Church Bazaar was happening! A used car went for $375 at the Live Auction! Original paintings worth thousands went for “mere” hundreds! So many good deals, so little time. I scored a few fantastic finds myself (far from the hundred-range, of course). • In Small Group Selina taught on Spiritual Warfare—how the enemy wars against us and how we fight back! Ultimately it’s the only battle where we know the outcome...VICTORY! God wins, end of story.

Small Group–Thanksgiving Party
Next Thursday, Nov. 20 at Dave & Shay’s
If you’ve been wanting to come back to small group or to check it out for the first time, next week would be a great time to do it! It’s our Thanksgiving Party, one week early. Come give thanks with us in a time of sharing and praise. Bring a dish to share. Actually, e-mail me if you’re planning to come so we can plan the Thanksgiving feast (so we don’t end up with 5 turkeys and 6 lbs of stuffing).  

Mighty Moms Starting a New Study

Mighty Moms is starting on a new book, "Immanuel: Praying the Names of God Through the Christmas Season" by Ann Spangler. What a way to help focus us and our families on Christ during what I find to be a very overwhelming and crazy time of the year! It’s a great chance for you to visit—at the start of the new study! And for those of you working moms who can’t make it out to our Tuesday meetings, we’d still love to support you in your spiritual journey! We’ve started a private facebook group, through which we’ll be going through "The Power of a Praying Wife" together online. If you’re interested in doing this study with us, please e-mail Lori Mizue at lkmizue@gmail.com so she can send you an invite to the group. There is supernatural power in our prayers!
